Searching for ways to make real money by working at home I ran across some great comments:
"I am a former college professor and have been working from home for 12 years and love it. This is an excellent article. As you can see, contrary to popular belief, there really are free, no scam work from home jobs out there. First, never ever pay for a job. If you are ever asked for a dime, it is either a scam or a "business opportunity"" by
"Great article. I am a former college professor and have been working from home now for 12 years. When you are looking for a home based job, I following 2 rules. First, never pay for a job, they should pay you. Next, if it sounds too good to be true, unfortuantely, it is. Very few people are going to earn $50 an hour doing data entry. It just doesn't happen. If you are looking for legitimate, free, no scam, no mlm work from home jobs, I highly recommend the Legitimate Online Job Directory at http://www.LegitimateOnlineJobDirectory.com. They have everything from entry level to executive work from home jobs and they are all legit. I hope this helps." by
"Another great way to make money online is to take paid surveys. There are a lot of companies that pay you to share your opinion. You simply answer questions about their products and services, and they pay you.A lot of people think that all paid surveys are scams.Actually that is not right. If you want to find quality and legitimate survey sites and start making money today, follow my tips.1)Join ONLY legitimate and free survey sites. You can find them on Google, but DON'T type broad keywords like "surveys", or "paid surveys".Instead, try something more specific, like "paid surveys with free registration" or "how to find legitimate surveys for money".That way you will find better results.2)NEVER share your credit card information or your SSN.3)Try to find more information about the survey companies you plan to join by typing "YourSurveyCompanyName" + scams, forums, review. That way you will find more information about every site, you are interested in.4)Join several free survey companies. That way you will make more money.Hope that helps." by
Reading such awesome comments from people who know what they are talking about led me to make my own list of 5 work at Home Oppertunites. All of these work at home oppertunities are currently active and relatively new.
Craigslist Vulture
http://craigslist.com
I have a friend who simply scours craigslist constantly simply finding good deals and then selling them to someone else. You can sometimes actually sell things being shown on the free section of craigslist on another site like ebay or etsy and then have the original owner ship it. You can pay the owner the shipping from the money you made from the sale. This is hard work and a huge headache, but for the right person it only takes a few cash-ins per months to be swimming in it. If you are willing to go outside, or have a car you can amplify your earnings by picking up junk and reselling it to consignment shops or antique stores. Also, simply watching the job opportunities on craigslist can land you with pretty awesome work at home jobs right in your neighborhood. Keep your eye out for local companies needing simple services. Keep in mind the bigger the city you live in, and/or the closer proximity to cities the better chance you have for craigslist to pay off.
Fiverr

Often times people are overwhelmed with coming up with an idea, but all you need to do at Fiverr is browse the marketplace and find an idea you think you could do, and replicate it (with your own little spin). You will be making money $5 at a time afterwards. A great work at home website, and you can offer a handful of services at a time!
