Invest with as little as $25 and make money

I have recently been turned on to Lending Club as a way to invest small amounts of money and in order to receive 10% interest on the money loaned. Like many people, I have been pretty disappointed in CD's (certificate of deposits) and other IRA accounts. Even my works retirement plan is performing so poorly that it is almost not worth doing.

Those needing money can consolidate debts and borrow money to help with credit cards and mortgage rates. Here is an example:

Lending Club allows you to put small amounts of money up to lend, spread across multiple notes in order to receive small monthly payments. You can also do it as an IRA Investment options. There is also the option to lend to riskier notes, or safer notes with the riskier notes earning a higher percentage. There is always a chance that the loans could default and you could lose money on that note. Although Lending Club has a pretty good system for approving those asking for a loan.

There is also a pretty sweet referral program at Lending Club which can net you some pretty sweet bonuses for getting other people to try it out. So if you have a little extra money that you plan to save you should check it out. 

Online card game (CCG) to play at work

If you enjoy fun, quick, online card games that can easily be played at work or on your phone, you should check out Urban Rivals. I have been a big fan of this Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) Collectible Card Game (CCG) called Urban Rivals for 5 years. I had written about this game on my other blog Zombie Robot Frosting and got a great response.

Urban Rivals pits a number of street gangs against others. You collect your own street thugs and match them up against opponents street gang. The characters are usually parodies of pop culture figures and are quite hilarious in their own right. The game is downright fun, the collecting and experience system is very addicting and the best thing is that this game is FREE (unless you want to buy tons of extra cards which is not necessary to the enjoyment of the game).

Not only is Urban-Rivals free, but unlike most other free games, there is NO download. You collect cards, level them up in battles or tournaments hosted every other hour, and sell and trade them in the market. Building a good deck takes time. You earn packs of cards by playing in the tournaments or buying credits or the best way inviting your friends to come play. Join up and try the game here.

While this game website cannot earn you any money blogging, it is a very fun way to spend some free time. Especially if you like new and strategic card games. Plus, the referral program is not only fun to bring in friends but also to earn extra credits to buy new cards.

Since their is no downloads and the fact that the game is free, I often open a new window and play this game while doing any number of other things online. It is the best game I have found online since Kingdom of Loathing.

On a side note, if you would like to make MONEY referring people, you should think about blogging with PayPerPost, because you can earn 15 dollars per referral that write one blog post.

William Hessian and John "Sighless" Supinski have spent the last two months playing demo nights in every game store in greater Portland area, calling game stores across the country, e-mailing friends and family and posting everything on social media. Their goal was to raise $22,000 to print their brand new card and dice game PBL ROBOTS! This last week they had to turn up the volume on their effort and make a trip with 3 friends to New York City on a mission to play PBL ROBOTS with as many people as possible, in as many places as possible. The mission was a success as the trip generated over 6 thousand dollars in new donations on Kickstarter.

William and John started Hidden Ladder Games in Portland, Maine a year ago after deciding to develop the game and turn it into a real thing. William and John both belong to the Hidden Ladder Collective, a group of artists and musicians in Portland. This artist collective helped develop the game from the ground up, inventing characters, play testing and editing. Other local companies like Walker Film Productions helped create the game play video for the company. R Choice 2 Gaming in Portland, and Weekend Anime in Westbrook has hosted weekly demo events during the last two months and have been extremely supportive.

"The card game itself is a blend of Magic the Gathering, Risk and Settlers of Catan: only with giant Robots!" says William when explaining PBL ROBOTS. Each player own a giant robot and builds cards on top of the robot to upgrade armor and increase the power. Other cards like crew members, hangars and action cards help develop a strategy. The game typically begins with a draft, where each player selects which card will be in their deck and not long after battles begin and the dice start rolling. Blow off all 4 limbs of the opponent robot and you win the game. The game itself is traditionally a 2 player head to head game, but has over 12 different variations, some for younger players and faster games and others for multi-player, tournament modes and puzzle modes. "The game can be played so many diverse ways that it appeals to wide range of people and a wide range of play styles."

Each game has 113 cards and comes with a variety of dice, a rule book and two control panel cheat sheet are also in the game box. This gives you everything you need to learn and play the game. With only 48 Hours left on the Kickstarter the pair of game developers are gearing up to place a giant order of 5 thousand games and will start to ship and sell them as soon as they arrive! ROBOT CARD GAME

ROBOT CARD GAME called PBL ROBOTS. This table top dice and card game is like a mixture of Magic the Gathering and Risk. It is one of the best games I have ever played. You can play it a hundred times and still feel like there are better strategies and new ways to win. The characters are great!

Currently it is a two player game with rule variants for multi-player and different variations. If you get a chance check it out!
