2007 $$$ Blog Totals
Note: All of my statistics have been varying a lot since this only month three of my blogging experience. This should give new bloggers an idea of what to expect if starting a new blog within 90 days.
newest strategies:
Adbrite
Early on, Google Adsense was showing me very little results on my blogs, I decided to go searching for another product like adsense and found Adbrite. I have reviewed Adbrite head to head with adsense in my adbrite Vs adsense blog. You can see adbrite on this blog on the sidebar and at the bottom of the page. Adbrite was started on November 16th.
Monthly Income: $0.78
Yearly Total: $1.17
Adroll
I was contacted by Adroll staff, asking if I wanted to try out their new advertising product. The products works in sync with adsense or adbrite type website advertising. It sells ads in the same spaces, for more than the competitor. Potentially, it could generate better paying ads on my blogs. I started November 28th, and in the first 35 days have had zero clicks. I am becomming skeptical if this product will work for me. My lack of success may be due to my low page impression count, I can invite other bloggers, so if you want to try out this product, please comment and I will send you an invite.
Income: $0.00
Widgetbucks
See my Widgetbucks performance review. This is my first 30 days using WB. Singing up with WB offers $25 free dollars, which is a nice incentive to try it out. The product is very new, and just started paying out the first earnings. Hopefully their are no hitches in the system as it seems to be a decent product for bloggers. I am a big fan of the green products that appear on my page since I do support green products awarness. 14 clicks in November.
Income: (ZoRoFro: $1.35/ BBC: $1.45) $2.80 cents
Yearly Income: $6.67
current ongoing blog profit centers:
Google Adsense
After a very turtle-like start, my adsense was finally showing some promise. This month I seem to have dipped back into the mediocre level. I seem to get very inconsistent results day-by-day. Running adsense on my Bearded Bunny Art Blog and Zombie Robot Frosting has netted me just over 2 dollar, and nearly 8 dollars for the year. Keep in mind, November I made a record 5 dollars with Google Adsense.
Income: $2.16 cents
Yearly Income: $7.77
Voxant Newsroom
On my Zombie Robot Frosting blog I have news videos to embeded on my page. In month one, this was my favorite and best source of income for the blog. I did realize that I had the video set to auto play for viewers, generating me income but annoying all viewers. December was even less fruitful than the unimpressive November totals, as I also had problem with the player loading cropped. So currently, I do not even have the player on my blog.
Income: $0.09 cents
Yearly Income: $3.78 cents
Vume
Vume (pronounced 'view me') is a photobucket style site, that allows upload and storage of pictures, audio or video. The cool thing about this site, is that it pays you $3 per 1000 views. I was using this site to host my blog pictures and since the start of my blogging. Sadly, it has gone through some rough periods here, good things it seems to back to functioning and I made a measly profit in December, yet slightly higher than last month. It rounds out the year almost making 3 and a half dollars.
Income: $0.23 cents
Yearly Income: $3.43 cents
Total funds (December): $6.01
Yearly Blogging Funds (2007): $22.82
Note: I want to stress the fact that this is month #3 in my short blogging experience, and the yearly total is not a full year. Yet, I did want to calculate the numbers so at the end of 2008 I have something to gauge my success against. The $6 December total shows some disappointments in all areas, although my post number and page impressions did go slightly down in a stressful month of moving and holidays. I still want to run a post about my page impression strategies soon, Blog Rush, Blog Catalog and more.
I am always trying new products and testing new strategies. If you know a profit center that works, or a new product that is worth trying out, leave me a comment and I will check it out.

New Blogs' November $$ Earnings
Note: All of my statistics have been varying a lot since this only month two of my blogging experience. This should give new bloggers an idea of what to expect if starting a new blog within 60 days.
new strategies: (less than one month)
Income: $0.39
Adroll
I was contacted by Adroll staff, asking if I wanted to try out their new advertising product. The products works in sync with adsense or adbrite type website advertising. It sells ads in the same spaces, for more than the competitor. Potentially, it could generate better paying ads on my blogs. I started November 28th, and in the first 5 days have had zero clicks. I am looking forward to seeing what this product does for me in December. I can invite other blogging to try out this product, if interested please comment and I will send you an invite.
Income: $0.00
Auction Ads
Failure! I did not find this to be a realistic source of income for my blogs. The banner posted ads for products for sale, I generate nothing for click throughs, however if a viewer purchased the item from the click through I would get a percent of the profit. I found the odds of someone buying something extremely unlikely, especially because I did not find the products very appealing personally. It no longer appears on my blog.
Income: $2.29 cents
current ongoing blog profit centers:
Google Adsense
After a very turtle-like start, my adsense is finally showing so promise. I seem to get very inconsistent results day-by-day. I am not complaining though, because a few days this month I had some nice earnings. Making Adsense my new biggest money maker for the month.
Income: $5.05 cents
Voxant Newsroom
On my Zombie Robot Frosting blog I have news videos to embeded on my page. In month one, this was my favorite and best source of income for the blog. I did realize that I had the video set to auto play for viewers, generating me income but annoying all viewers. Since I turned off auto view and moved it down on my sidebar it gets less attention and also apparently does not load correctly for those with smaller computer screens. Newsroom's results are less than impressive for November.
Income: 0.17 cents
Vume
Vume (pronounced 'view me') is a photobucket style site, that allows upload and storage of pictures, audio or video. The cool thing about this site, is that it pays you $3 per 1000 views. I was using this site to host my blog pictures and since the start of my blogging. Sadly, it has gone through some rough periods here, good things it seems to back to functioning and I made a measly profit in November.
Income: $0.19 cents
Total funds (November): $8.09
Note: I want to stress the fact that this is month #2 in my short blogging experience. My $8 November total shows some improvement in adsense and widgetbucks, and some disappointments in Vume and Voxant Newsroom. My layout changes frequently, and I will run a post about my page impression strategies soon.
I am always trying new products and testing new strategies. If you know a profit center that works, or a new product that is worth trying out, leave me a comment and I will check it out.

Widgetbucks performance review
Widgetbucks
In mid-October I signed up for Widgetbucks. The program offers a slideshow type banner featuring products for sale. Each click from a viewer, much like any advertising product, then generates a few cents. I currently have one widgetbucks banner at my Zombie Robot Frosting blog (at the very bottom). Earlier this month a gave a brief review of Widgetbucks in my Widgetbucks blog
Rolling in the Big Money
Widgetbucks, for a small blog like mine, does not generate anywhere near good sums of money. It is a ticky-tack penny-by-penny process. I make 17 cents per click on the banner. I average 1100 page impressions in a month and currently have a 1.33% click rate. With the 14 clicks, my total earnings for November comes out to $2.31
Month to Month Comparison
Last month, I had a much better click rate at 3.74, although I did blog about it and encouraged readers to check out the banner. My per click payment was also a few cents higher at $.20 per click. My earning were $1.58 from 8 total clicks (keep in mind Widgetbucks was started on October 15th, only half of a month statistics). My numbers went down in most cases from the initial month, but the steady stream of clicks from week to week seems reliable. While my overall earnings did go up, the rate fell quite drastically, next month will be interesting to see which way the numbers begin to go. If the number continue to drop, soon there will be no reason for the banner, however if my percent bounces back up and stays consistent with clicks it looks to be a decent ad banner for my health & immortality blog.
Categorized Content
Still my favorite feature of this banner ad is the fact that I choose the content category. I choose green products, something I feel is important and also relates to my blog, therefore I enjoy the advertisements on my blog. I happen to be interested in a number of the products which helps me feel confident that it belongs on my page.

WidgetBucks: Scam or Legit?
Widgetbucks
A new ad based revenue company, opened on October 2nd, allowing bloggers, businesses and website owners to post ads and make money. It is very similar to google's adsense in a lot of ways. You post code on your page and get paid each time a customer click the animated ad to view a product. There are a number of products and catergories to choose from. Scroll down to the bottom of my page to see my 'green products' widgetbucks ad.
Big Bucks
First off, you get 25 dollars simply for signing up. Which is a good start.
Secondly, the pay per click is extremely high right now. I assume it must go down soon, or else the company will buckle before it begins. My current pay per click is 0.28 cents. Which is about 27 cents above my google adsense pay per click.
Widgetbucks a Scam?
Since widgetbucks program is literally not even one month old its hard to tell. I do know that the first payouts will be made fifty days from now. Which means we can not know until then. I figure its worth a shot to see if it is profitable, but I do think there is a very big possibility that widgetbucks is another scam site. One that will never pay your balances to you. I figure I will give it the alloted 50 days and make my judgment then. I am skeptical, but it is still on my page, so i have some hope.
Signing up
If you are interested in taking the risk with me and adding widgetbucks to your page. Feel free to use the link above, get a free $25, plus it gives me a referral. Keep in mind you need $50 before you can cash out. Good luck to all.
